Story Synopsis

I think everyone admires Japanese culture in some way, especially their ancient culture. The architecture, the dress and the customs, while simple they are never stark and though the traditions can be seen as ridged they remain organic and alive. And all of that profound simplicity can be best symbolized in the “chanoyu”, in the tea ceremony.

Everything that transpires within the tea ceremony is inferred rather than expressed openly and it is within these surroundings that we find Usagi and Tomoe. He has been invited by Tomoe to partake the ceremony with her. Almost immediately Usagi senses there is something else at work. Then a few words are spoken, which serve to increase the notion that something has changed between them.
